JAIIB 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The JAIIB 2024 exam has special requirements for members of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). It is important to remember that the requirements for qualifying may also vary. But here are some of the key eligibility for the JAIIB exam. 

1.      Eligibility Limited to Institute Members-The JAIIB 2024 examination is exclusively accessible to ordinary members of the Institute of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).

2.      Education Requirement-Candidates must have completed the 12th standard examination in any discipline or its equivalent.

3.      Inclusion of Subordinate Banking Staff-Subordinate staff employed in recognized Banking or Financial Institutions in India, and who are members of the Institute, are eligible to participate in the examination. This eligibility is contingent upon having passed the 12th standard examination or its equivalent.

 

JAIIB 2024: Passing Criteria

Under the updated JAIIB 2024 syllabus, the criteria for passing are outlined as follows. To successfully clear each paper, candidates need to attain a minimum score of 50 out of 100. Additionally, candidates who secure a minimum of 45 marks in each subject, along with an overall aggregate of 50% across all subjects in a single attempt, will be deemed to have successfully passed the examination. Notably, there is no provision for negative marking in the JAIIB 2024 Exam, allowing candidates to focus on demonstrating their knowledge without the concern of penalty for incorrect answers.

 

JAIIB 2024: Passing Time Limit

The person taking the test can only try 5 times in a row before failing. So, a person who wants to take the test should be able to do so within 3 years of registering. If a candidate fails the test in the allotted number of tries, they have to sign up for it again and don't get any benefit from having already passed the paper.
